Dear Parents/Guardians,
All volunteers who work with our students must have a PA Child Abuse History Clearance and a PA State Police Criminal Record Check. It is my hope that all parents/guardians choose to volunteer . . .that is one thing that makes our school so different from the rest!!
We have many ways for which you might volunteer your time. Fundraising, Homeroom Parent, Book Fair, helping as a teacher aide, and extra set of hands in the classroom for projects, chaperones, lunch and playground supervisors. . the list goes on and on.
All must fill out a PA Child Abuse History Clearance form (pick up form at school) and a PA Criminal History Check which can be done online at http://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp
There is a $10 fee (money order only) for each form. (The online form for Criminal Record Check uses a credit card.) If for any reason you cannot afford the fees, please let us know and we will assist.
When you receive the clearances (approx. two weeks) bring them to the office where we will make copies to keep on file. The copies will stay on file as long you have students in our school without the need to get clearances each year. If you already have clearances that are no more than 2 years old, please do not send for new, just bring your originals in and we will make copies.
